With Hope... Comes Disaster

April 12, 2008

The wind is falling, plumeting

to the rain.

The rain is drownding in itself.

Voices push the clouds away,

Worse than a sandstorm,

worse than a droughting flood.

People break down, just like

their houses.

Scary gales shatter windows

as people go helter skelter.

Then, everything goes quiet.

The shutters stop rattling.

The water stops rising.

The trees stop falling.

Every living soul takes a breath,

as they realise whar happened.

As hope returns, it is

driven away by the impressive winds,

soon arising again.

People utter gobbledeguk as they

board up windows - prepared.

People lay on the ground now,

as still as summer leaves.

They aren't breathing.

They should've saved themselves.

Hurricanes Happen.
