Imaginary Shop

April 12, 2008

I was running my buisness on old Fanna Lane,

I was doing so well 'till I heard old Jane.

She said "They're building a new coffee shop,

It has great flavors in every drop!

Now I was taken really aback,

My coffee was so good without any lack!

"It's fully refurnished," She had to continue,

"And it's right over there, on Zipper venue,"

I started to question, "Is my shop to old?"

"Is my coffee too pricy to even be sold?"

"It's got the jazziest music and the latest books!

With decorated tables, it's got all the looks!"

The tablecloths I had were enough I thought.

Was it fancy decour that I really sought?

"Now when is this store going to open?"

Asked Jilly Joan, concerned and mopin'.

"Ha! This is an Imaginary Store!

To make something like this, you need money galore!"

Oh! I said and finally realised,

how foolish I'd been, this had opened my eyes!
