Hidden in the Forest

By Archana Sohmshetty

The newspaper can't be right. It is never right. Jolie is just making up a story so people would buy her newspaper. Humph! I thought. Jolie Becons was the news reporter of the Frontier Data, a 'very intresting paper' as my dad calls it and 'a cheap good for nothing, stupid newspaper' as I call it.

"Hey Christine! Come here!" My dad called me.

I knew it would be another good for nothing story. I stoped drawing a landscape and walked over to him. The last story was about a U.F.O sighting. Everyone knows U.F.O's are not real!

"Yes dad", I said heading over to him.

"Christine, hear this", He continued," Monster Sightings.

A monster is said to be roaming the Lanbrigde Forest. It is 8 ft. tall and camoflauges with most items in the background of the forest" He continued. "Police are not going to take the case, so -"

"Why do you read this junk anyway?" I inturrupted.

"Well Christine, you can't raise your voice on me young lady! I understand that you don't like reading 'Non - Fiction' articles and especially the newspaper, but you have to learn some how", He told me.

That was the last straw. I hate Jolie and her good for nothing articles.
