Sky Wars

Chapter 1

By Archana Sohmshetty

It was one plesant morning I, Sabrina, was taking a stroll at the park. Birds were chirping playfully, and the morning breeze rustled the nearby leaves of a tree. The air was freash, and it was a perfect morning. Just then I stopped in my tracks. I just froze. The air suddenly smelled dry. I sensed a dicky. A dicky was a sky war that only special kids know about. I was one of those kids which had the abilities, to get on a particular team. I put on some some goggles that I was given when I became the leader of the Red Orbs. The Red Orbs was the name of my team. We fought sky wars, or, in proper terms, dickeys. Sky Wars has an objective, which is to earn the Ladva trophy. Ladva is a far away country at the tip of the north pole. Everyone wants to win the Ladva trophy, to be named as the worlds best team. To enter into the championship, you have to pay an entry fee, and that, to just compete! The only way to pay the fee is to earn money, which can be done by challenging other teams to a dicky. Our team needed to fight just 16 mor dickeys to enter. I put on the goggles and peered around. Then I saw a few kids wearing blue belts that shimmered in the sky.

The Blue Blockers! So they're the new team that's joining the sky force, and they are getting defeated! I grunted, and I pushed the grey button on my invisibelt. In no time the Red Orbs were there. I quickly explained everything to the team, and we rushed behind some bushes so we could put on our Invisicloaks over our clothes. Lucky for us, there were many overgrown trees and bushes. I took out a miniture spherical object from my slightly ripped pocket and squeezed it. Out popped some Invisicloaks. They were black, with shimmering red stripes down the side. It came with an attached belt with pockets. The pockets were the same shimmering red as the stripes down the side. It had a cool design down the middle also. I had designed them the first week I was leader.

My team and I have done this before, so we were ready to fight in no time.

"Take your lasers out!" I called to the team.

The lasers were the same shimering red, and acted like a mini solar beam. I took my special object, the whirl wind, out. It was a special type of laser that represented our team. Every single leader gets to pick a weapon gift, when they become leader.

"GO!" I yelled.

My team darted into the sky. I spyed Gary, the leader of the Blue Blockers and walked over to him.

" Hi! I am Sabrina. Don't worry Gary every thing will be fine. Especially your team. Now tell me what is going on. I am not a friend of the green people," I said casually, while keeping an eye out for my team..

I did not know the full name of the green guys, and I have been in Sky Wars for at least two years!

"Sabrina. Leader of the Red Orbs. Well, my team and I where sitting in our hideout discussing what my special object should be. Joe said a blue lightning laser was the strongest blue object there is." Gary stated.

"What happened next?." I questioned, not noticing I had inturupted him.

"Well next thing we knew was that strange whirring sounds filled the air. As I was the leader I stepped out to see what was happening. This huge metal claw grabbed my shirt collar and took me away. My team did not notice I was gone until George had spilled our last can of tuna." Gary said, embarrased.

"Let me guess. They took you here to fight against you?" I said rolling my eyes, "that would definately be what they would do,"

"Actually they took me here to promise I will defeat the... The... Red Orbs! Which happens to be your team!" Said Gary thoughtfully.

Why would the Green people want to defeat my team? Are they competing for the Ladva trophy too? If they defeated our team bad enough, they probally would take away our chances for registration till the deadline!

"Well Sabrina after I got taken here I realized it was the hometown park. The leader, Greg, said that I have to help him bring down the Red Orbs. I was about to promise when Joe, my assistant came with my team to the rescue. Joe was a real savior. I turned on my Justice boots and flew of the ground. It took me a minute to get the hang of it. I went in front of my team and Greg came face - to - face with me. He said something like,

'Gary you can win or you can lose. If you usually lose you get thrown in my fire dungeon. Am giving you a chance amateur. If you lose You have to fight the red orbs with -' "

"Look out!" I shouted.

I moved aside and he moved aside. Right where Gary used to be a deep hole now stood there. Someone tried to shoot a laser beam at Gary. We looked up. A scowl came from Greg.
"Hey Gary? Finish you story later, alright? Because right now we need to fight!"

Gary and I raced upward and high into the sky. Ha! The only person on the green guys team was the leader and his assistant.

"Hello Sabrina. What a pleasant surprise we have here today. Oh and you are standing with your little puny friend huh?"

"Well captain Greeny weeny. Let me see your firey dungeon." I said hesitantly.

"You fool! I have no dungeon!" Said captain green, laughing histaricaly for three seconds.

"Hey greeny meany you're in the sky,  you're fighting with yourself, you weird guy!" I shouted in his face.

He scowled once more and turned around and fled.

Chapter 2

The next day...

"Sabrina wake up!" my mom shouted from downstairs.

I got up and brushed my teeth. I then took a quick morning shower and headed down the stairs. I plopped one waffle in my mouth after another. I was In a hurry to get information from Gary.

"Do not chew and swallow too fast! You look like your in a hurry these days. What now? Shopping, riding bikes, playing around", said my mom, giving me a look.

I was finished with my simple breakfast and was washing my plates.

"Oh yeah mom I am going bowling. I will use my own money this time",

I headed out the door and strait to my hideout. Before I opened and ulocked the entrance, I made sure that there were no people where around. Mr. Facous was watering his plants but he had poor eyesight so I opened the door. Sally my assistant came in a minute after I did.

"Hi Sally!" I said starting to pass my papers out on the table.

Our hideout was underground and behind Maple Hill. It had everything in it like a round table and other cool stuff. I found the old hideout when I was looking for a place to bury my girl scout capsule. One by one after I finished passing papers I watched as all the team members piled in to the hideout and sat down at there seats. I watched them as they started reading my article. After they finished most of them sat quietly and waited. Except for DJ. She was reading a newspaper.

"Oh my gosh! Look at this!" DJ shouted.

Everyone turned to her.

"Oops! Sorry everyone. Hey Seb, come here!" She said nervously.

Everyone returned to their buisness - quietly chatting and finishing the article.

"What?" I asked a little annoyed.

Then I knew what D.J was talking about. Something bad happened. I gulped.

I stared eyes wide open. She gave the newspaper to me.

"When did you start reading this paper?" I asked DJ in a stern voice.

"Well I just finished reading the article and then saw this laying on the ground next to the trash!" DJ stammered.

"Well DJ thanks for investigating. Let me look at this for a while in my chair", I told her, trying to sound friendly.

My chair wasn't different than the others. This is what the newspaper said:

Times of the Game!

All reported by George Newburg

It is that only one person knows about

this rare disease. Only very few children

get this. The flying power. I know it sounds

strange, but Henry G. Fogus was seen up

in the sky fighting some invisible type of person.

If more of this habit is around please report

it to George Newburg, the reporter of the

New York times. Please do not let your

children go out side without you

caring for them. Thank you. If more of this strange

buisness is seen, please remember

to contact me at 1-800-123-SAVE.

That was it. I was fuming. I was fuming mad at the person who was Henry. Boy, he should of wore his invisible cape! But Henry, the name Henry sounded so familiar... I went over to the computer. After geting on the skywars website, I typed in my very secret password. This website has profiles of everone in sky wars. Hmmm... maybe if I looked up Henery G. Fogus, I might get some information. I typed in his name. It said ERROR. Maybe it's a fake. I typed in Greg. This is what came up:

Greg Hitchet:

Age: 12

Codename:  Good Hound

# of sky wars won: 78

type of sky wars battled in:  All

team name: Green Goblins

Position: Leader

The list went on and on. I sighed. No info on Henery, but Henery was seen in the sky! Odd... Very odd...

"May I get the teams attention?" I said to the team.

Everyone stopped what they were doing. I needed to let them know about this.

"DJ pointed out this article. It may sound weird how I say it. But, here let me read it to you", I said.

I read the whole article to them.

They were wide eyed. No one said a word for quite a while. Then Mary spoke up and said,

"Um Seb. Did you hear the name Henry G Fogus before?"

Chapter 3

The next morning I slowly walked down the stairs and into the kitchen. My mom was making breakfast fast because she needed to go to work.

Maybe they didn't read the New York Times yet, or it might be a fake, I thought hopefully.

I sat down and slowly started eating my waffles.

"What's the matter honey? You're not eating your waffles as fast as usual", My mom said as she walked toward me.

"Oh I thought about slowing down while playing bowling", I said.

You might think I lied to my mom about going bowling. But I didn't. I went bowling right after the hideout meeting.

"Hey mom I am going to Sally's house to play alright?" I said.

I got up and without finishing my waffle. I washed the waffle and threw away my plate.

"Honey, You know that is not where the plate goes, and get that waffle out before it gets stuck." and with that, she left for work.

I took the dirty plate out of the trash. I watched as a banana peel slid down. Then I rinsed it. After that, I tried to get the waffle out. After I was done I headed toward the hideout. I finally came to my senses and looked around before opening the door. I had the slightest feeling I was being watched. I opened the door and passed the papers out. Just when I finished 3 rounds of different articles on stunts, Sally walked in. Sally is the assistant leader, so she usually comes early.

"Hi Sally", I said in a cheerful way.

She looked little cautious for some reason.

"What happened to to you? Wait,  you felt like you were being watched while coming inside, right? I did too", I asked.

She nodded her head. I knew something was wrong, but what? If someother team knows where yourhideout is it could lead to some trouble.

"Well Seb, I saw something moving outside, but that's not it. I felt like someone followed my to the hideout. I even thought something was moving in the leaves", Sally said.

Just then the others started coming in 2's 3's and 4's.

Everyone looked cautious.

Everyone had the the basic story to share.

"Here, let me call Gary, he might have the same problem."

I dialed hideout no. 45.

"Hi Gary this is Sabrina of the Red Orbs. Oh yeah. Um uh umm hmmmhm. Well I called to ask if you could come to our hideout for a duel meeting. I have some things to discuss. You know it too?Strange. Okay then, bye", I put the phone down.

"Okay Team, Gary is coming here now. I need Sally, Mary, and Casey to get some extra chairs from the closet. Veronica, go and make copies of the newspaper and pass them out", I said.

We have a copier, a computer, a printer, and a scanner in our hideout. We earned the money fighting dickys. We like contribute bets in a way. Lucky for us, we still have a lot of money. I bet the Green Team has thousands though. I heard that they rob. I wonder if they have already registered for the Ladva Competition yet.

"Zoey, wait outside for Gary and tell us when he comes. Okay team let's get ready!"

After a few dozen minutes, we heard Zoey come down the ladder and shout,

"He is here! Gary and his team are here!"

With that she took her seat. Gary came in, followed by his team.

"Hi Gary! Is this the newspaper you saw?" I said holding a copy of the newspaper out.

"Yes Sabrina, Joe was the first one to find it. It was near the trash can", said Gary.

"Hey ! that's where DJ found the newspaper! Something does not seem right. Come here and take a seat next to me. your team may take a seat too."

"Thanks Sabrina. Oh and I have a new member. His name is Berg."

Berg? Did he say Berg? His face looked familiar but why? I couldn't keep everyone waiting, so I started the meeting.

"Um. Let's start this meeting by discussing the mysterious newspaper." I said.

Soon we were able to close the meeting when we found out that the newspaper was fake. Berg never spoke a word and kept on a strange face.

"Thank you Sabrina for inviting you to your marvelous hideout. Yours is pretty neat."

I blushed.

"Hey Sabrina, can I talk to you in private?"

"Sure Gary."

We walked to the end of the hide out where no one could hear us.

"Sabrina, My team has decided on moving our hideout since the green team knows where we are. We haven't told Berg yet where because I am not sure anyone can trust him. I wanted to ask you if I should."

"Well it would be a great idea to move your hideout, but I am not sure you should tell Berg because he had a poker face on and did not say a single word throughout the meeting. I get the creeps on seeing him. He seems familiar, but I can't make it out. Tell you what. I will think about it tonight and call you the first thing in the morning with my answer."

Gary nodded.

"Sabrina, Do you think Greg is behind all this newspaper stuff?" He asked, perplexed.

"I don't know. He could be, but it's almost noon. We should be getting ready to go."

Gary and I said our goodbyes and he left. Everyone already left. I put the extra chairs back in the closet and walked out myself. Sally was waiting for me. We walked to her house.

"Hi Mrs. Deed!" I said following Sally to her room.

"Hello Sabrina, I knew you would come at this time." She said in her horse voice.

Sally and I played for a while and then I had to go home, as Sally and her family were going to go for dinner at a restaurant.  I told her bye and headed home. Before I reached home, I remembered that I had forgotten this paper my mom told me she wanted. I told her it was at Sally's special place. I was not lying about that because Sally says that the hideout is like her very own 'special place'. I went to the hideout and before I opened the door I heard voices coming from the hideout! Oh No! Someone was in our hideout! It was too risky to go in so I rushed home to call Sally Deed.

Chapter 4

I ran home.

"Honey! Slow down! What happened?" My dad asked me.

I was too trapped in my own thoughts to reply. What if Greg found our hideout? He could take our money! My heart beated faster by the second. I raced to my room, grabbed my cell phone and dialed her number.

"Hello, this is Sally speaking. May I know who is calling?"

"HiSallyIwaswalkinghomefromyourhouseandIstoppedbyatthehideoutandIheardvoicescomingfrominsideanditcouldbe anyonewhogotintoourhideoutsoIranhomeandcalledyouandsowebettergettherefast!" I said.

"Slow down Seb! Take a deep breath and tell me what happened. The restaurant was closed so we didn't go. We have TIME!!!" Sally said.

"Well Sally I was walking home from your house and I stopped by at the hideout and I heard voices coming from inside and it could be anyone who got in to our hideout  so I ran home and called you and so we better get there fast!"

"Ohmygosh!" Meet you there in a minute." She said and hung up.

I carefully went back outside and I ran to the hideout. Sally was waiting for me there. She had a cup which was on the door and it looked like she was concentrating. I sat down beside her and put my ear to the door. This is what I heard.

"It got - here some wh -"

I got up. Sally got up after me.

"Seb, this is what I heard, someone was saying, 'Hey don't touch anything but you know what' and then someone else said, 'Come on!  It's not like this team is high tech and has cameras dude! If we get it, they probably won't be able to get into the Ladva competition!' and then the first guy who I heard talk said 'We can not find anything why don't we come here tomor-?'"

Just then the door slowly opened. We pounced behind 2 bushes. 2 boys walked out. They looked like Sky war fighters. I saw something green shimmer on their waists! They were Part of the Green Goblins! I looked at Sally. Sally looked at me. I gulped. What a story it would be tomorrow! Right that moment one of them looked at us. I was wearing a green flowery shirt with army pants, and Sally was wearing green tights with a striped t - shirt with shades of green. lucky that, because otherwise he would of saw us!

A picture of  Berg went through my mind. One of the guys looked like Berg!

Chapter 5

That evening, after Sally and I got fresh air and a sigh of relief, I told Sally what I thought I saw.

"Well Seb, I think I knew that boy too. I knew I saw him somewhere, And Berg, he always has his face, like, not able to have any expression. I think I better go home now. Remember we are not supposed to talk about Sky Wars after 1 o' clock. Seb I gotta go. I will be thinking about this tomorrow. Tell it to Gary. Bye!"

And Sally left the spot. I took out my camera phone which I got for Christmas, and took a picture of our scene. And then I left and went home. I already knew the answer to Gary's question about telling Berg about the new hideout,  my answer would be NO!

********************************************************************************************************

The next morning, I went to the hideout extremely early. I got on our computer, and wrote an article on what happened the day before. I just printed out the last copy, when there was a knock on the hideout door. I had forgotten to unlock the door! I unlocked it. Veronica was the first to arrive. Soon everyone was there. I passed out the pages and everyone started reading it. I sat down and studied it myself, thinking of a way to tell Gary about what happened. Zoey was the first to finish it. Zoey then came to me and said,

"Is this true?"

"Yes, I am afraid so, Zoey. Sally was there and she also saw it. Zoey, as you are done first why don't you go down to hideout no. 45 and give one of these to Gary?" I told her.

"Sure Seb." She said and she took the extra copy from my hand and headed out.

Wait a minute. What if Berg sees the copy before Gary?

"Zoey wait!" I called out.

She stopped.

"What?" she asked annoyed.

"Don't let anyone in their hideout see the copy except Gary, and tell him that." I said calming down.

With that she left.

When she came back, I decided to start a meeting.

"Okay team what did you think of the article?"I asked.

"Is it real? Did it actually happen?" DJ asked.

"Yes DJ, even Sally was with me."

'Isn't Berg the newest member on the Blue Blockers team?" Veronica questioned.

"Can you even join a team?" Tesa asked.

"Wait, I don't think you can join a team, and I bet I am right that I saw Berg, because he is a new joiner, when you can't join, and only if youget special permission, and you already have a group and ..." My voice ahd trailed off, but I continued. "Which means Berg is from another team, because no normal child knows about Sky Wars! And the only team that really met the Blue Blockers except us is the Green Guys and that must mean Berg is working for them!" I figured.

Everyone nodded their heads in agreement and so they were smiling. Case closed.

Chapter 6

As soon as we figured it out, the phone rang. Casey got up to get it.

"Hello? Oh hi. Yeah Zoey sent it over. Sure." Casey pointed the phone at me and mouthed the words It's for you.

I took the phone.

"Oh hi Gary. Yeah It was quite a story. Oh that is a great idea. My team and I were talking about it and we figured out a lot. OK. Yeah. OK sure. See you here!" I said and put down the phone.

"Gary is coming here now?" Mary said with a puzzled look on her face.

"No. Remember In the article I said that the two boys would come back here today?" I said walking to my seat.

"Well, they are and so Gary  is coming here after everyone leaves so we can wait here until they come."

"Won't your family wonder where you are?" Sally asked.

"Hmm. I guess so. I was planning to go to the mall, so I guess I could tell her that I went to the mall." I said.

"That is lying." Sally said.

"No it is not if I go there after we catch those thieves." I said.

We had a few more discussions and Veronica, our team treasurer, told us how much money we had, and so we discussed how to save up for the Ladva trophy competition. After that, everyone started leaving. I called home, with my phone. My mom said alright so I breathed a sigh of relief. Few minutes later, Gary came and, oh yeah,  fun was about to begin!

Chapter 7

" Hey Gary! What is that in your hand?" I asked doubtfully.

"Oh I took a stop at home and got a few black big garbage bags. Here take these. Roll up your sleeves and slide into the holes I cut. And when they come, we can put our hoods on. I cut holes for the eyes and the nose." He said.

I wore mine. It fit perfect and It clashed with the dark.

"Great thinking Gary. Hey Gary, what my team figured out was that Berg was part of the Green Guys. It is known that people can not join other teams, so we need to figure out how to get Berg to quit on your team and so we need a plan. That is -," I said.

"Wait Sabrina, I hear footsteps. Do you have the keys to the hideout door ready?" he asked.

"why do we need keys?" I asked taking the out.

"Just watch." He whispered.

Then we saw the theives enter into the hideout. They went to the end of the hideout. They were looking for our money. While they were looking Gary swiftly glided over to the enterence and locked the door. He then came back.

"To make them scared," He whispered.

Then they started talking.

"Hey Henery, let's look for a couple more minutes, and then leave, okay?" One asked.

Henery? Henery G. Fogus from the paper?

"Why should we do that Derek?" the other asked.

Derek? Henery? Berg must be Derek, because Derek's voice sounded familiar to Berg.

"Henery, I gotta go to the bathroom." Derek said.

"Why didn't you go before?" Henery asked.

I wanted to laugh but I held it. It was cool looking at people try to find things, even if they were looking in the wrong place. A few minutes were hours for me. then the time came.

"Henery, I gotta really go now." Derek said.

"Alright we will come back tomarrow." Henery said.

The two boys walked past us and tried opening the door.

"Henery! It is looked! I gotta go though!" Derek said.

"Move over, let me try, I'll pick the lock." Henery said.

"Your in my way!"

"Why do you get to do everything, huh Henery?"

"Just move if you want to go!"

We watched Derek move aside.

Henery got it to open and Derek rushed out. Henery followed. After a minute, I laughed immitating Derek saying,

"Henery I gotta go now,"

Gary also laughed.

"Sabrina, that was my plan, to make them scared. Then tomarrow I will pin a note on the door," He said wiping tears from his eyes.

"Great. To get rid of Berg from your team, make him quit, and not make us tell that we know about him."

And with that I told him my plan. Double the plans, double the better.

Chapter 8

The next day, I went to the hideout and directly to the telephone. I called Gary so we can review the plans for today.

"Oh I Gary. Do you got Party all set up?" I asked.

"Yeah. I got  56 worms last night. It will be a blast! Oh and for my team I got gummy worms. It is going to be a blast!" he said.

"Well good luck! I gotta make more articles." I told him.

"You made that article in the hideout? You type fast, man," He said.

"Yeah I sure do, but not that fast. I gotta go, and good luck." I said and put down the phone.

Typing fast is one of the reasons my team elected me as the team leader. Hmm... Should I type it up? Naa. It would be more funny if I did not. So I just reveiwed what happened, ready to tell the story. Soon everyone started piling in. they took there seats and saw the smile on my face, and right then and there they new that I had a funny story to share.

"Finally! No articles!" Tesa said, sitting in her seat at the round table.

"I like the articles though. I understand it more, that's why," DJ said, arguing back.

"Yes, a story and not a paper.", I continued, "Well yesterday after the hideout meeting Gary came in and he had 2 big black garbage bags, and he gave one to me to put it on. It had a hood, handholes, and everything, like a black raincoat." I said.

"Wow great idea huh!" Veronica exclaimed.

"What next Sabrina?" DJ said.

"Then Gary wanted my keys to the hideout. I gave them to him, and he snuck over to the door and locked it."  I said.

"Why  did he do that?" Mary asked.

"You'll find out. Soon they started talking. One said he wanted to leave, the other asked why, then the first one said he had to go to the bathroom. So after a few mintes of looking, they walked back to the door and tried to open it. The first one said, Hey it is locked! Then the seconed picked open the lock and the first ran outside!" I said with a grin.

Everyone else was smiling and giggling.

"Hey Seb. do you know their names?" Sally asked.

"Oh yeah! I almost forgot, it is Henery and Derek. Derek is the so called 'Berg' and Henery, is like the Henery G. Fogus in the newspaper." I said.

"Hey and today, we are going to try to pin up a note saying something like we know you are there. You stealers. I shall haunt you if you come back!!!!" I said.

"Also, Gary is throwing a little party, and in that party, Gary is going to make Berg eat a worm! If we can disgust Berg, maybe we can make him quit the team!" I exclaimed.

All of a sudden my Invisible Belt was beeping! Someone was challenging us to a Dicky!

"Team! A dicky!" I cried.

Chapter 9

Everyone got out their lasers and I got my special object, the whirl wind out. I lead the line outside, followed by my assistent, Sally, and then Veronica, Mary, Tesa, DJ, Casey, and Zoey.

"Hello Sabrina," Greg said.

Greg was outside the hideout! And he was about to use a laser on Gary, who was helpless without his team.

"Team attack the Green Guys!" I said.

The girls rushed out and fought ferociously, lasers swinging wildly. Who would win? I thought. For some time I looked like I would win but then sometimes it switched around. I looked at Greg. He was looking at the fight too.

Soon half of my team and Greg's team were gone, I mean they dissappear and go back inside their hideouts. When they are gone they are expelled from that dicky.  Greg looked back and I Instantly used this chance to use my Whirl Wind, and got Greg on the pinned on the ground.

"Greg, we can do this the hard way or the easy way . The easy way is we conquer you and you are whiped out of the Sky Wars Dickey. The hard way is that you are wiped out and we get all your savings. You choose." I said.

He didn't say anything. He frowned and thought. Gary was still on the ground.

"Mary! Go take Gary back to his hideout." I told her.

"Huh, Sabrina, I am sorry and I never thought I would tell any one this but, for the things I did I must. Sabrina, I have understood my mistakes as being a leader. I think that geting money is the only thing I wanted. I am sorry I broke into your hideout. It is just I can't bear to have sky wars taken away from me. I can not believe I lost to a GIRL!!! Okay, her goes- Will you accept this truce?" He asked.

I didn't know what to say. I looked back at my team. They nodded. I turned back to see a laser pointing up at me. Gulp.

"Ha ha! Looks like you fell into my trap! When you turned around I pulled out my laser and... Well let's just say... We can do this the easy way, or hard way", Greg was grinning an evil grin.

I stammered, trying to think of a comeback. In the corner of my eye I saw the whirl wind. It was on the ground. Maybe, just maybe, I could reach for it, and grab it so that I could knock the laser out of Greg's hands. I took one step back. What if the whirl wind had no more power left? I took another step back. Greg took a step forward.

The Whirlwind felt like a mile away. After a couple of minutes, which seemed like hours to me, I finally was in had a hand lenth of the object. I counted to 3 and then grabbed the object.

Chapter 10

I grabbed the object and flicked it on. NO! It was drained! I stood there, ferociously trying to on it, but it was no use.  Greg was charging at me.

Right then and there, Veronica jumped into action. She creeped up behind Greg, and using the end of her laser, she hit Greg on the head. He collapsed in a heap next to my feet, If Veronica had waited one  more second...

I was astonished. Veronica had risked her Sky Wars days for me! If Greg had saw her, and hit her with a laser, she would have been wiped out of Sky Wars forever, because she was already banished from the battle!

The other team members that were watching ran over to Greg, picked him up and dragged him into the hideout.

Veronica and I followed them not saying a word.

********************************************************************************************************

"When will he get up?"

"What is he doing?"

Whispers went around the room. No one dared to talk about what Veronica had done. She wasn't to keen either.

I was on the Sky War homepage, on the computer. All leaders chat on this website. I had opened the chat room containing the Green team. This is what they said.

Maroon Marigolds: Did u hear that the green team is controled by someother team?

Purple Penguins: Yeah, some people say that he actually steals money!

Red Rubys: I never heard he was controlled!

Purple Penguins: It's true though, I think.

Red Rubys: Do you have any idea by which team?

Maroon Marigolds: Not really.

Red Rubys: I gotta go, bye and C U Later

I logged off.

Greg twitched, waking up. He was tied to a chair, which Sally had done.

"Huh? where am I? D..D..Did I lose Sky Wars?" Greg asked, drowsyly, "Argh! What the - Hey! who tied me up?"

Greg stared at all of us.

"We want to know the truth," I said glaring at him.

"Yes Greg. I can see you have learned. You may get up and go now." Greg got up, after Sally had untied him.

"Thanks Sabrina. I have mistook your powers, and I still can't believe I lost to a GIRL!" Greg mumbled, and with that he left, head hanging.

Chapter 11

My team and I went back into the hideout exausted. I got drinks from the cooler, and heated up some pizza rolls. While DJ started a meeting, I called Gary, and told him about the truce.

"Hey Sabrina, Yeah, Greg actually came to our hideout. Now that we were friends, I got his hideout number and location. He said we should come over right away and so I was about to call you. Bring your team."

With tht I took down the number and location.

"Hey girls, come on, DJ, I will finish up the disscution. Come on now we need to head over to Greg's hideout! Gary and Greg's teams are there already! He has a huge explination!" I said. And we started out.

Once we got to his place, I knocked, and Greg opened the door smiling. I sighed and walked in. HIS PLACE WAS THE FANCIEST PLACE I HAVE EVER SEEN! We took our seats in these comfortable leather chairs and all Gregs tricks had been revealed, Greg is not his actual name, but it is Henery G. Fogus! Ring a bell? But he also said he wanted more money because the Brown Beasts, an even stronger sky wars team that was leagendary was threatening to wipe out Greg and his team. Greg also said the brown beasts was doing the same thing to other teams as well. The brown beasts wanted to get into the Ladva tournament really bad! He was in a bad situation alright and he sure was glad when I exepted the truce! Would three teams be enough to stop Brown Beasts? Another adventure might start to find out!
